The idea for Konbini Club started not on a business spreadsheet, but on a street corner in Tokyo.

We were instantly captivated by the konbini (Japanese convenience stores). They aren't just shops! Konbini’s are temples of convenience, knnown for serving food that is delicious, high-quality, and affordable. But nothing captured our hearts like the sando. Perfect milk bread, perfectly balanced filling, perfect crustless edges. It was a secret too good to keep!

When we came back to the Bay Area, we realized our local markets were missing this level of convenient culinary perfection. So, we decided to build our own version: the Konbini Club.

Our Commitment: We’re dedicated to making every item from scratch. We bake our own soft, slightly sweet milk bread and use specialty ingredients like Japanese yuzu and hojicha. Every sandwich, latte, and dessert is made with the precision and care we fell in love with abroad.
